On October 4, Governor Pritzker announced he’s appointed Mark Prince of Prince Law Firm to serve on the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Advisory Board. Prince’s experience as a self-employed attorney for 31 years has resulted in helping countless southern Illinoisans who were injured while they were on the job or because of someone’s negligent actions.
When employees are injured at work and seek workers’ compensation benefits, they’ll bring their case to the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. Mark Prince will aid in making recommendations to the Governor’s office about who should serve as the arbitrators and commissioners for the IWCC, along with advising the Governor on other important matters. Choosing highly qualified candidates is paramount for injured workers to get a fair case and to get the compensation they deserve.
Prince previously served as President of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, an organization made up of members who fight for those who were wrongfully injured. Now, Prince serves as a member of the Executive Committee. He has served on the Workers’ Compensation Advisory Board in the past. Prince has won two Trial Lawyer Excellence Awards from the Chicago Verdict Reporter.
