In 2026, Mark has also become a frequent voice on one of the legal profession’s most important emerging issues: the ethical use of artificial intelligence. Also in July, Mark spoke at the Melvin M. Belli Society’s 78th Annual Seminar in Chicago, presenting “Top Takeaways for the Ethical Use of Artificial Intelligence.”
He also presented at the American Association for Justice’s 2026 Annual Convention during the session “The Ethical Use of AI: Top 10 Do’s and Top 10 Don’ts.” His presentations focus on helping attorneys understand how they can use AI while continuing to meet their ethical responsibilities to clients and the courts.
Mark’s discussion of ethical AI continues September 16–18, when he speaks at the 2026 Case Status CX Summit in Charleston, South Carolina. The event brings together legal professionals, technology experts, and industry leaders to explore client experience and technology in the legal industry.
Mark’s speaking engagements complement his continued leadership within the American Association for Justice. In 2026, he was elected Content Curator of AAJ’s Premises Liability Section and Co-Chair – Publications of AAJ’s Jury Bias Litigation Group.
